Can I use a power adapter with the BP Reader?
Yes, Vive Precision Automatic BPM can be powered with a micro-USB charging cable.

How do I set up my automatic bp monitor?



Does the BP Reader allow you to print out your readings?
No, the readings cannot be printed out from the device, however, it does store up to 180 complete readings for easy tracking.

Will the self-inflating cuff fit a person with very large arms?
The adult-sized cuff can accommodate adult arm sizes between 8.6” to 16.5”.

Can I use the automatic BP Reader by myself or will I need help?
The bp cuff can be easily secured on the arm without assistance, allowing for accurate self measurements.

Is the arm cuff automatic or will I have to pump it up?
The blood pressure cuff automatically inflates, no manual pumping necessary.

Is there an indicator to tell me whether my blood pressure is normal or high?
Yes! Along the left-hand side of the screen, there are four color-coded areas indicating normal and prehypertension, high blood pressure or hypertension stage 1, hypertension stage 2 and hypertensive crisis blood pressure levels.

Is this a Bluetooth BP Reader?
No, it’s not Bluetooth-compatible, however, it is compact for easy travel or storage.

Does this BP Reader measure from the wrist or from the bicep?
This is an upper arm blood pressure monitor and will measure from your bicep.

Does this monitor for an irregular heartbeat?
Yes. If the device detects an irregular heartbeat two or more times during a blood pressure reading it will display an irregular heartbeat icon.

Is this BP Reader rechargeable?
No, it uses three AAA batteries (included) and can be connected to a micro-USB adapter (not included) as an alternative power source.

Can this BP Reader be used on children?
The self-inflating cuff size ranges from 22 – 42cm. This standard cuff size can accommodate a small to large sized adult. The recommended cuff size for a child ranges from 12 – 18cm. A cuff size too large can underestimate a blood pressure reading.
