Does the Vive Precision body fat scale have auto recognition?
Yes! The scale includes an auto-recognition feature, however, if two users have a similar weight, you will be prompted to choose which profile you would like to use.

Is the body fat scale actually measuring BMI or just use a formula?
Using the BIA technology the scale sends a minute electric current through the body to measure body fat, muscle mass, bone density and water weight.

Is it possible to set the scale to measure in KG instead of LBS?
Yes, it provides measurements in pounds, kilograms and stone, in 0.2 increments.

Will this scale sync to a fitness app on my phone?
At this time, the scale is not bluetooth or wifi enabled.

How can I make sure my Vive body fat scale is accurate?
First, be sure to use the scale on a hard, flat surface. Carpeted or soft flooring will produce inaccurate results. If the scale must be moved from location to location, recalibrate the scale by stepping on and then back off, allowing the scale to turn off before stepping on the second time.

What is the weight limit on this scale?
The body fat scale safely supports up to 400 pounds.

Are the batteries included?
Yes! The scale arrives with two CR2032 batteries.

Can the scale measure regular body weight as well as body fat?
Yes, the scale provides seven measurements, including standard body weight.

Can it track more than one person at a time?
Yes! The body fat scale allows for up to eight profiles to be created for easier tracking.

How do I set up my body fat scale?



To begin, press the set button and scroll through the user profiles with the arrows until you reach the first open profile. Press the set button to select the user profile you wish to set up. Using the arrows, select male or female then press the set button. Next, you will set the height by using the arrow buttons, then press the set button. The final screen allows you to enter your age using the arrow buttons. Press the set button once more to display the full profile with 0.0 pounds for your first weigh-in.Why does it need to know my age?
The scale uses BIA technology, in addition to the user’s height and age to more accurately calculate body fat, water weight and bone density.

Can I use this scale if I have a pacemaker?
This scale should not be used if you have an implanted medical device such as a pacemaker, metal plates, screws or a contraceptive appliance. It is also not suitable for pregnant women or small children.
