Telfa Ouchless Non-Adherent Dressings are specially designed to protect healing wounds without sticking to delicate tissue. Each dressing features a thin, absorbent layer of cotton fibers enclosed in a unique non-adherent sleeve, making them ideal for treating dry, sutured wounds, superficial cuts, and abrasions. Unlike standard gauze, Telfa dressings are crafted to be "ouchless,” meaning they won’t disrupt the healing process or cause pain upon removal. The non-stick surface prevents trauma to regenerating skin, allowing for safe and comfortable dressing changes. These dressings can be cut to fit without fraying and are suitable for use with topical medications and as a primary layer in a multi-layer wound care system.
